Learning a new language can be difficult, but it can also be very rewarding. When I started learning Spanish I felt that the best way to learn was to speak to native speakers, but second to that was being able to hear native speakers and match what they were saying to an accurately transcribed written text. I found that movies and Youtube videos were better than nothing, but too often noticed the words didn’t match because a lot of slang was being used.
I therefore decided I should combine my academic background in writing and editing, my thoughts on language learning, and my love of travel to create GMH English. And here it is!
